ABS, Engine, Brake light
OK. driving down the road today at about 40 MPH and all the sudden my ABS Engine and Brake light come on and i guess a warning beep starts going off inside the car. When all this was ahppening it felt like the car wanted to cut out. I pulled over and turned the car off. Wating abou 30 sec and turned it back on. I start driving again and it happens once again about 300 feet down the road this time only going about 20 MPH if that. Only the ABS and Brake light comes on and the beep but it doesnt feel like the car wants to cut out. By this time i just decided to turn the car arond and go back home. Another 2 miles down the road it happens again going 45 MPH with the same warning lights and beep as the second time. I figured that it only happened at around the 40 MPH time but it wasnt i got above that with no problem at all. So i am drivinf for a bit nothing happens so i thought everything was good, Until i get a mile from my house and it happens again![:@]at 30 MPH. IDK what is going on! anyone have any ideas or had this happened to you? The car does need new rotors and brake pads in the rear so idk if there is maybe a sensor or something that is reading that and wants to cut the car off for safety maybe? any help would be great!

All the lights coming on like that is a communication issue with the brake control module. You need a new one, there is a company that re-builds them, i think its module masters or something like that.

break peddle switch
break peddle switch
could the problem also be from my rear rotors and brake pads being so worn out? cause i mean they are really bad? also where is the speed sensors cause i searched and it also said the problem could be that they are dirty?
you say the break lights come on? is that without pressing the breaks? if yes then the break peddle switch will cause a problem with the ABS because it thinks there is a problem with the breaking system, if the break lights dont stay on then it could be the ABS ECU ( yes you can drive the car because ABS is an extra ) so you still have the standard breaking system
