abs problem

Question abs problem
96 A4 2.8 v6 12v quattro

anyone have an idea why my abs activates at 2-7mph while not on the brake? i have no lights on but it engages wether im on the pedal or not.

Probably one of you ABS sensors is damaged or not pushed in far enough. If you have VAG-COM you can diagnose which sensor is causing this.

regretfully i dont have vag-com yet... ill check the sensors. this wouldnt be caused from the infamous abs module would it? i believe it throws a light when its the module. correct?

Yea its not a failure of the ABS module. You'd have two lights (brake and ABS) and your ABS would never engage.
