Well maybe you'll change your mind about upgrading guts but in a beat-up engine heightening boost is a disaster waiting to happen.
OASN, torque is what f*cks up your engine. Horsepower is irrelevant until everything is already up and going but high torque is why people fry trannies, rods, axles etc etc. Anywhere past 300 lbs tq is asking for trouble.
