Whats up guys...Im going with a 18x8 racing wheel and was wondering what would be a good fit for tires...Im seeing some say 245/40/18, 235,40/18, and also 255 and 225...I know I dont wanna go higher than a 40 or lower than a 35...Anyones opinion or pics on what I should do would help...thanks

 

i don't think you can fit a 245 on an 8" wheel i just got a set of 235/40 and love them.

you could make any of those fit, but without modification id stick with the 235's as stated

 

235/40/18. If you insist on going 245 or 255, you'll need 245/35/18 or 255 /35/18.

 

235/40/R18 man trust me... u dont want thin tires... my friend has real thin tires and the ride is real rough... idk thats just my experience with them...

 

depends what you're going to be doing with said "racing wheels". if youre going to be actually racing with them then go with a lower profile. maybe look into 225/35. something that will stiffen up the sidewalls a bit but it wont be intolerable on the street if you are daily driving it as well. if youre just driving to work and back then do as everyone else suggested. a 235/40 is a nice size.
