so i was replacing my turn signal switch and took the steering wheel off so i could acces it on my 97 a4 1.8t quattro and i accidentally turned the ignition on with out the air bag connected so now i have air bag light how can i reset it?

 

Nice people at your parts store "might" clear it, or you can vag-com it away

 

tried my local autozone but they said they couldnt do it and i have a cheap one and it wont say anything about airbag maybe dealer?

 

or maybe st take out the bulb hahahaha

 

You need vagcom to turn it off. You may have a local AFer who can do it.
