Default Air box mod worth it?

A few people voted, and I decided against it altogether. I had th air box out while doing the headlights (long story) and thought to do it then, but I'm going to keep it the way it is for now... thanks for voting...

I did the air intake mod where you take out the whole air box and put in a cone filter, I like how it sounds and it feels like I get smoother acceleration in 3rd and 4th gear, but not really any noticable gains.

Previous owner did it on mine was pissed when I found out but I like to keep things stock cutting holes in crap that cant be replaced that easily makes me cringe I almost cried when I cleared my corners

I think an intake or airbox mod is more worth your while on a n/a motor, but not for f/i. An exhaust though is good for both.

People do it mostly for sound.

I actually bought an aftermarket airbox and don't really feel any gain in HP.

i say just go get a cheap cone filter.. or an expensive k&n filter doesnt matter.. and do that instead of butchering ur stock box for no reason
