From the searching I've done I'm led to believe you have to have the light reset with either a vag-com or take it to the dealer.

I'm still looking for someone to reset mine... might just have to take it to the dealer.[:@]

 

get the codes but i can almost gaurentee that because of rough roads theres a loose connection. thats what happened when my light came on for no apparent reason. dont know if your B5.0 or B5.5 but on pre face lift the airbag module is under the rear seat.

 

Check the airbag connectors under the seat. The passenger one often comes loose.
