Default alarm problem

well, i don't think the car can be armed without the remote on the key...and since my keyless entry has not been working for some time now, i find it odd that the car has been setting off the horn on the alarm or sometimes even just the lights whenever a thunderstorm hits... it ended up draining my batteries if i didn't hear the horn. any ideas how this could happen?

hmm not sure then thought it may have been that your interior movement sensors were on and the windows were down. You could try switching your interior movement sensors off and see what that does.

perhaps the thunderstorm was strong enough that it set off the interior sensors.. that is a possibility
