sell me the avant! or trade me my sedan, it runs too, has a system and is 5 speed.. just not quattro or as LOOOOW as u are lol

yeah I'll swap some parts including the wheels some time when I have a chance. maybe this weekend..

how do you open the keyless remote to change batteries..? I have the switchblade key and the seller said the batteries just need to be replaced. I'm hoping I don't have to reprogram it which isn't as easy as with the 97

its easy you find out the code of the remote with vagcom or somthing and you program the frequency but i highly doubt that your going haft to do that and on the side without the buttons theres a little nodge in the middle just take a flat head and pop it out

why do you say the 99 has a euro trunk lid? i thought only 96's had them? (this must only be for sedans then im assuming?)

You could just re-program it your self if you have a spare.
