my 12v motor had water damage and it was replaced along with a new timing belt early 2009 by a popular tuning place by me, I doubt they'd take responsibility for it but I'm going to look at the receipts for any kind of warranty or anything... haven't heard anything new with the sedan by the way.

this was maybe the easiest mod I've ever done to a car..

I haven't noticed too much difference with performance or sound from it. I think it's boosting better on light throttle. should work well with the giac tune though

Nice boost gauge. What kind of pod are you using? Podi?

You are running an aftermarket intake right? You won't be hearing much sound with the stock airbox. And to be honest, the stock DV is actually louder than the Forge.

I'm not sure who makes the pod but I got from ecs. no aftermarket intake (yet?), I can't really tell which one sounds louder.. they're both a little louder than I was expecting with the stock intake. I got the forge dv just because I didn't want to use the stock one with a tune

I got a splitter. Its honestly been more of a hassle for me. It releases boost at part throttle, it seems to spool the turbo faster, but also kick down from 8 to 5psi faster as well. By 3k RPM, I'm at 4-5 psi. Its fun to sound like a bus stopping every time I shift, and to see peoples faces, but its starting to annoy me. I may go full divert soon.

Good luck Aledelic, hope things work out!

Yeah, stock DV won't last long with the tuning. The turbo will be A LOT more audible once you get the aftermarket intake. Or you can do the Swiss Cheese mod that a lot of people do.

kayakman13 - What's the setup for your splitter? 50/50?

I think its more like 70/30. (Diverted/Vented) and I dont think that's adjustable. You can only adjust the spring tension, much like coilovers its a progressive spring. So that allows valve tuning by simply turning and clicking.

I thought you could adjust the splitr's diverted/vented.. I was looking for one until I found the 007p for a good price.. would the swiss cheese airbox mod make the bov sound louder..? the ecu should have been sent out today and it's only coming from like two hours away so I think I may get it tomorrow.. hopefully

the place that has my car thinks the problem with the sedan is a bad valve but not completely sure yet...

The only adjustment you can make to the Divert/Vent would be to put the vent horn on the divert side and vise versa, which would throw codes and mess with the A/F ratios. They put in the R&D, I'll keep it where it is. Its plenty loud.

Yeah, the Swiss Cheese would make it sound louder. That's the only reason why people do it.
