avant's back. the problem was the water pump... $450 repair ftl. the sedan just got towed yesterday and I should find out what's up with it one of these days...

put the bra on, debadged the back, ghetto shaved the lower door moldings and ghetto washed it with some "waterless" foamy spray on stuff..

needs so much moar low...

didn't notice some of those pictures were so grainy..

I'll probably cover my hatch window with stickers some day..

it's good to have one car back. it's definitely not the same though I'm not sure which one I'd rather keep and I'd have to know what's wrong with the sedan first. the avant is only two years newer and has 20k more miles than the sedan. the only paint defects are really in the front bumper but almost everyone's is chipped up. and the rear bumper puncture..
also forgot to mention I bought a driver's side lower grille and put that in, swapped the cracked hood grille with an all black one I had sitting around and I have a b6 coolant tank uninstalled. I hate the height of it but 1.8t is fun, there's a giac dealer like 10 minutes away from where I go to school and I think I'll have it chipped some time soon, I want a boost guage and new dv first though, assuming my dv is stock... it makes the psh sound if I let off the gas after having the pedal down hard, not sure if it's the normal loudness of it? is the 1.8t normally a pretty loud engine? I drove my friend's jetta the other day and hers is kinda loud too and the only other 1.8t's I've been in were modded. I expected it to be more quiet than my v6

id stay with the sedan. if its not a big pain to get fixed. sedans just have a much cleaner look to them.

aledelic - Do you have an intake? The turbo is generally quiet until you install an aftermarket intake (or do the Swiss mod).

I like the look of avants better than sedans, especially when modded. my avant looks boring compared to my other car though

the car is completely stock as far as I know and doesn't have a cone filter, I assume the airbox hasn't been modified either. I'm going to try to fit my cone filter from the sedan onto the avant and hopefully have more bov sound
