Saw this and thought of your sedan. I know you dont live near me, but its the same color, it was low (didnt really look close) and it wouldn't run. Further inspection told me it was wrong engine, wrong drivetrain and autotragic, but I thought I'd share anyway.

lol that would be a nice deal if it wasn't auto. and fwd. and undriveable. my sedan is europa blue not santorin

got the giac tuned ecu, 23psi ftw! maybe. I dunno why I'm overboosting a little like that.. already need one new coilpack. it's weird owning a non slow car

so you'd say the 2.8 is a slower engine? I mean the consensus is that 1.8>2.8 in performance, but stock to stock which is slower?

Stock to stock the 1.8 is slower depending on what year car you have.

yeah my stock 12v I think was a bit faster than my aeb 1.8t. the 1.8t rpm's seem a lott lower though but rev up more slowly than the 2.8

I got the ecu from the vortex classifieds

I'm assuming my spark plugs are stock and gapped at .032, I should have 7 heat range plugs at .028 with my tune. would not having the correct plugs and gap cause the car to misfire cylinders and buck at 15+psi? . I just ordered all new ngk plugs, should I also order coil packs? I have had cylinders 1, 2 and 4 misfire since the new ecu..

Start with plugs. On turbo'd motors the plug gap can have a lot of effect, especially when we're talking AEB 1.8Ts. These motors are wayyyy calculated to run a certain way. So yeah, I think the bucking would definitely be attributed to plugs.
