Default All the belts

I bought my car with 179k on it, right now im up to 181k. The timing belt, thermostat, and tensioner pulley were all replaced at 145k from the previous owner who was a mechanic. When should i look into doing them again. Ive been hearing some rattleing and whining when i acclerate hard, and i took it to a shop and they said tensioner pulley, but they were the same shop who told me itd cost 1800 to fix my flex pipes. You guys know these cars best. What should i do, or when should i change it. thanks.

Did he not replace the serpentine belt tensioner when he did the timing belt and such?

Yeah I'd prolly do it before you hit 200K. The serpentine belt on my bronco used to whine a little bit, i just sprayed some v-belt dressing on it, that took care of it. I'd definitely have the tensioner done though, just in case.

charges too much.
