I have a 1996 1.9tdi avant and have an issue with the warning lights located on the rev counter, all the warning lights flash continuously. They are dull and are hard to see during the day but clear when the light fades. I have scoured forum after forum and cannot find anyone with an answer as to what this could be??? The lights come on after the engine has been running for around 30 seconds.

Just to add it has been hooked up to vag com and no faults drives perfect everything works perfectly apart from ignition switch which I am going to replace, could this cause???
