alternator?

How do I know how many amps is my alternator on my 97 audi a4 1.8t??

120 amp only for the AEB motor. Get a Bosch or Valeo, they are OEM <<<<<<I's this true

Is yours bad and you're looking for a replacement or what? You're correct that the AEB takes a 120 amp alternator and that Bosch and Valeo make replacements.
