Default Annoying wind whistle

ive been putting up with this noise as i thought it was a door seal around the frame that needed replacing but after a bit of investigation ive traced it to this plastic triangle as shown in the pic.

as soon as i go above 30mph the sound of whistling wind becomes noticably louder and also any speeds above 60mph i can feel the wind coming in if i put my hand in front of it.

it is a bit loose and if i give it a slight tug it moves away from the window, im not sure if theres a clip thats come loose behind this tiny plastic triangle or if a seal is missing.

can anyone let me know if theres a fix for this please?

You could pop it off and try to seal around the edge of the inside with foam or weatherstripping. Make sure again though that it's not a door seal or door misalignment issue while you're at it.

open the door and check the rubber moulding i had this problem and the molding was just folded under. the little square pops of with a slight pull. then there is a foam block under it that sandwiches the connector for the mirror

a little off topic, but anyone else notice when they put their hand, holding on the door handle bar while driving on the hwy, they feel the cool wind seeping in?

the doors rant air tight at all so it sneaks through. when you open the sunroof you can feel the air being sucked from the footwell

B5's are the worst for hot boxing because of all the little areas that are seeps in/out.

I removed the tiny bit o plastic , there's no sponge or anything to stop wind . Only the elec mirror block hanging there, am I good to just fill it up with foam or is there a better option?
