Default another wheel question...

ok so obviously there are a million of these things and i searched threw a few and didn't come up with an answer, but i kind of wanted opinions as well.

i found some stock VW wheels theyre 17" "GOAL" wheels in anthracite grey.
the price is decent, but im concerned about the offset and fitment.

the offset is 50mm, and ill go the spacer route, but i dont want my audi to look like a new mario-kart.

so my question is, can i get these 17s on my car? will i need spacers for the 50mm offset? and if so, how far will the wheels stick out?

here is the link http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...283545352.html
i thought they'd be a nice stock-like aftermarket alternative.
also, my car is dark blue(santorin i believe is the correct term)

You may - I believe the stock S4 wheels on my car now are 45 offset and they fit, but a 50 offset may be a little too much. I don't know for sure. 5mm spacers should give you all the clearance you need.

So you think they'll stick out much? I don't mind like a 1/4inch or so but again I don't wanna look like I'm driving an oversized gokart.

so many wheel questions about fitment without giving both widths and offsets.. I'm pretty sure those are 7.5" wide though and I think you'll need small spacers to get them to work. but you'd need huge spacers for them to look good though. they won't come close to poking if that's what you mean "stick out much"...

I have a wheel question as well

I just bought my first Audi A4 I have always been a BMW guy as of last week. Anyway my question is I was thinking about buying replica 17in R54 wheels 17 by 7.5, 42mm offset (ebay item number 380325743259) but they weigh 23lbs each do you think I will have a suspension problem or have a problem with the speedometer. I have a 98 audi A4 v6 30v Trip-tonic. Anyway if you have idea and have the time to respond I would really appreciate it.

^ Why would you have suspension problem? Are you worry about rubbing?

And as for the speedometer, as long as you get the correct size tires, you should be good to go.

Yeah I am worried about rubbing and I dont want wheels that are too heavy either to mess up my suspension. Thank you for responding to my question so you think I should go 18inch with a smaller tire or just get 17" I still want a good comfortable ride, I dont want to feel every bump in the road.

I have been looking for 17inch replicas but I am having trouble finding ones I like with a 35mm to 40mm offset. I think I will stick with 17" thats for the input
