http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-.../OEM/ES429363/

or this:

http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...fler/ES429364/

Both of them are for the FWD... but are 93% & 94% off!!
So any way either of them could be "cheaply" modified to fit a quattro?
I haven't been under the rear section of my car yet and it's been VERY rainy lately so I don't know how the exhaust/muffler is setup on my car....

the inlet pipe may need to be modified. just order one and find out. if it won't work right wait until ecs is sold out and flip it for profit on the classifieds

Well it looks like the one for the 1.8t has a lot more inlet pipe on it than the 2.8... that might make it easier to cut/weld in place of the stock one. Do you think the hangers on them would be the same or would those need to be cut/welded too? Shipping is almost the same price as the muffler so it'd be a little over $100 just to see if it works (still A LOT cheaper than anything else)...... not too sure yet. It might be a good start to use it to have a full exhaust made too though, rather than buying a universal muffler and having a system built.

That's a deal of the century. I was wondering why I didn't see that on ecs after looking around recently. Then I noticed that it's not for the 1.8T.

Oh snap! I thought they were both for the V6. I'm going to have a little talk with my wife about what I want for Christmas lol!

So do you guys think that this would sound good with the stock piping and resonator? Or would there not be much difference? Also, would I have to cut anything, or does this just clamp onto an existing location? I know this is an unbelievable deal, but I want to make sure it's more worth it to get this than to wait and get a custom cat-back setup.
