anybody done a custom swap???
i totaled my a4 from the back yesterday, and my motor and tranny are still perfect at 85k, and i was wonderin if anyone has done a custom swap of a 1.8t quattro into a random car, let me know if its been done, what kind of car
there is alot of MKI, MKII, and MKIII gti's and jetta's with a 1,8t swap in them. The MKII is light as hell and is a rocket with just a stock turbo. However, you are going to have problems using the torsen system in any other car since the haldex from a TT/R32 works better.
If you want really random, there are Lotus's and Kit cars running 1.8t's
