Sounds pretty good! Any specs on the exhaust? Definitely in for driving vids.

boost leaks have it breaking up pretty bad starting at 6k, turbo isn't sitting flush against the manifold "seafoam revealed that", going to revamp it and get some studs and copper sheet to get it setting better. have to wait for compressor housing adapters to fix the leaks up, my home made ones have small leaks somewhere. a FMIC wouldn't hurt either, IDT the stocker can keep up.

Wrong, that is the stamp for just the head not for the actual motor. The motor has its own stamp right on the block and as we all know the head can be changed. Looks like someone just put a AJL head in place of the stock AEB head, both of them have the same large intake ports so the swap doesn't change anything or give any gains.

The turbo kit that is in that car isn't worth $2k, it would be if it was an actual APR stage 3 or stage 3 kit but that is not an APR manifold in his pictures.

in an attempt to alleviate some headache, and seeing as there's a brand new maf in the trunk, and there's already a hole patched in the upper IC tube, I'm going to cut it out and put the maf in a blow through setup a couple inches in front of the throttle body, this will at least let me check the tune without having the thing break up like crazy from the leaks.

okay, went through and patched everything up, made new copper gaskets, boost leaks are fixed, she still brakes up a little, up top, I'm going to change the fuel filter and see if that helps any.
