Anyone build their own test pipe?
So given that m car might have a clogged catalytic converter, and that i would rather sell my other cat if i have it than use it, has anyone ever made their own test pipe? does not seem like it would be all that difficult...
would it be as simple as using the flanges from the old pipe and getting some exhaust piping from a shop and like a flex joint to compensate for any bends?
if it is really this simple, i might knock this out today or friday... i have a welder and figure 20-30 bucks in piping is better than $100 bucks for a cat...
any input?
i did not do a search before making this thread
