I am in the middle of rebuilt of my Front End of the Car after a Fire and been getting parts for my car as I go forward. This happened Twice with ECS Tunning with me. Their Web Site claims that they have the part in Stock and when I order it, 1 Week Later I get an Email saying that they don't have the part and bla bla bla. Then I have to tell them to cancel it.

Has anyone else experienced the slow death by ECS? I really think with Audi's the Dealer is the Fastest way to get your part now. You might pay 20% more for your part but you won't reach old age.

ECS has always been good to me... But then again I never really ordered much from them in the first place.

Are you buying genuine Audi parts? If so, ECS rarely has the best prices... I get all my "genuine" parts from genuinevwaudiparts.com They tend to be 10%+ cheaper than ECS. Of course if you're buying OEM parts from other manufacturers then they will be even cheaper.

Had the same thing happen to me with MJM a coupla weeks ago trying to source a set of TT carriers. I don't think the "In Stock" link on most of these sites are updated regularly

I am starting to think so. In stock does not mean anything.

A lot of times these companies will have items drop-shipped from a different location, or have items sent to them from a separate warehouse so they can ship your order. So a lot of times that "In Stock" means the other company/warehouse should have the item in stock :/
