Default anyone made a custom DP?

Hey again, ok so Im in engineering at a place that makes the cab's for a lot of Caterpillar and John Deere and Autocar equipment, and obviously there are many many people with tons of welding experience there... so i got to thinking, if they weld every day for a living, i would bet they are probably as good as the people at 034 / atp / apr and what not for making exhaust components. Well i know one of the shop guys pretty good now, and asked him today if he had a welder at home and he chuckled and said of course...

so i then asked him if he would mind doing a little side job for me for some cash... he's like why dont you just bring it in to work and i can do it on break or before/after work and ill do it for free! (ill still give him a $20 or something)

So i am thinking this is the route i will be going...

Turbo to this 5 bolt to 3" vband connector
http://www.034motorsport.com/turboch...s-p-18347.html

to this 3"vband flange (w/o2 bung already in there)
http://www.034motorsport.com/turboch...g-p-18130.html

welded to some 3" stainless tubing w/ an o2 bung welded into place
http://www.034motorsport.com/034efi-...l-p-18222.html

welded to one of these on the end of the down pipe, connected to the other one, which will be welded to my current exhaust!
http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...Category_Code=

I know it seems like a lot, but it should work im thinking...

any comments / suggestions? Where could i get the 3" stainless tubing?

i realize there is a website called google that you can use to search for things...

i guess i was just curious if anyone has used a certain shop or knows of a good reputable place to go with.

I would buy 3" bends from http://www.full-race.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=1845

I could ask 034 if they would be willing to sell some 3" bends since you are looking to order other parts too.

Thanks mike. I would love for you to do that for me. I have spent hundreds with them in the past and over a thousand with you haha. so hopefully they might be able to sell me some of their stock.

I dont really like to just google "3" exhaust pieces" and pick the cheapest place... who knows what their stuff is really made up of / the quality. I want to do it right once.

Looks good so far, but I'd be careful with the v-band connector that already has the bung for the primary o2, because you really have no idea at what point that will put your sensor until you have it infront of you and welded up. Better off getting that piece without the bung, fab up the pipe so its complete minus the bungs, THEN mark where the sensors will fit with a marker, and have them cut and welded in.
