Anyone running REVO software?
I can now get REVO software at a local shop... I'm still leaning towards APR but this is the e-mail I just sent the shop owner, just trying to "think out loud" I want your 2cents!!!! If you have REVO I want you 5cents!!!
I've been looking at Revo, Uni, and Apr. Uni only has the stage 1 for my car... I was thinking about stage 2. I'm limited to the mods I can do on my car do to SCCA rules... So I can't go a full stage 3!!!
Stock 150hp 162lbs
REVO stage 1 says 180-200hp / 187-197lbs
APR Stage 1 200hp / 243lbs $399
Uni Stage 1 195HP / 215LB $500 OR 1+ 201HP / 220LB $550
Stage 2
Revo 10-15% on top of the gain from stock to stage1
APR Gives no #s for their stage 2 on their site.
Uni no stage 2 for AEB
I'm not finding any prices for the REVO software stage 1/2 could you let me know what you would charge for
APR-Stage 1/2
REVO- 1/2
I can't see paying what Uni wants for the same #'s as APR not to mention the add-ons APR has. So it comes down to APR vs REVO... This car is used as a dd and beat the crap out of every weekend on the track with NORA/ASCC
What would you do?

Out of curiosity, why isn't Giac on your list? Id go with them or Apr. Stay away from Uni, cuz they are greedy and their customer service makes Comcast and the DMV look like saints. I've ran Apr, Giac, and Uni at one time or another on my various setups, they were all good tuning. Never had Revo but haven't heard bad things. I'd go with whichever one makes the most torque, which looks like APR, but look at Giac too.

Not going to find a huge amount of people running REVO on the B5 since they only offer tuning for the 2001 when it comes to the B5. Most of those are running the BT tune with the elim kit. Revo prices for the K03 tuning for a 2001 should be the same as their tunes for the B6. Pretty sure its only going to be a stage 1, the stage 1+ tunes for the B6's are a injector upgrade because they have a non fuel return system. The 2001 has a fuel return and FPR just like the rest of the B5's. This is why you dont see any tuners offering injector upgrade stage 1+ kits for the B5's.
Have you throught of maybe going with the Frankenturbo upgrade since it basically looks exactly the same as your K03? I am a Frankenturbo dealer now, it will give you about the same power or slightly more then a stage 3 but not nearly as much power as a stage 3+(GT28rs).
Since you are ndbw, your only options are going to be APR, GIAC or Uni. If your choices right now are just APR and REVO, you can only go APR since Revo doesn't offer tunes for the ndbw cars. They only tune the wide band cars.
