Default APR Chip

Yes, I am going to do this. Please don't hate me too much. I know that some of these may be answered on APR's site, but I want real people's answers. Anyone out there have a APR Stage 1 chip and can answer the following:

1. What is fuel economy after the chip?
2. Where is the new torque in the RPM curve? Where do you feel it the most? I'm used to getting real "pull" under acceleration at about 2800-3500 rmp. Does this go lower? My thinking is that if the torque curve was lowered in the RPM, then (unless there was a significant increase in fuel consumption across the board) the fuel required to accelerate similar to before the chip might be lowered.
3. Have you replaced your DV? Is it necessary? Which one did you go with?
4. They guarantee a 3 day service for you to remove, send it in, get it worked on, and get it back. Is this true?
5. The link above shows all four programs and all options for $499. Do you use all of them? Or just one or 2 of the programs, and maybe the lockout? I'm just wondering if buying the full option chip is really worth it, or if I should just go for the 91 octane program and stock.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out. I'm excited about the possibility of a cheaper chip but don't want to jump in without proper information.

my car came with an APR chip. fuel economy is in the mid 20's. drops down to 20mpg if im driving with a lead foot. its basically the same as stock just upped boost pressure. they did remap the gas pedal boost trigger whatever- meaning if at 1/2 throttle before you had 5psi, now you have 5psi at 1/4 throttle or so. they also increase timing slightly. i find the a/f ratio to be slightly rich in the middle and slightly lean up top. my ECU never pulls any timing.

yes replacing your DV is necessary. i have a regular aluminum forge knockoff.

if they guarantee 3 day service, then thats what it is.

i only have stock and 93 modes. its left in 93 mode 90% of the time. lockout might be useful but idk if i would pay for it. valet is useless, no one else ever drives my car.
