Which company are you looking to go with for the new tune? GIAC is a great choice if they are an option for you.

You can also run a MBC in parallel with the N75, that's what I do. The way mine is set up the N75 controls the boost at all times, but I use the MBC to limit maximum boost pressure. For example a week ago before getting the GIAC PC-16 tuning (I was using the same 210cc injectors as you ) I had my MBC set to 15psi.

I am curious how old your turbo is, is it original to the car?

As for wheel spin, even with the basic GIAC chip on stock turbo the front wheels would spin past 3000RPM in first. Right now my stock clutch won't let them spin any more LOL.

i`m in Europe, so MTM maybe, I know one guy who does chipping and has few different company chips, we`ll try and see.

Yes I understand, in parallel maybe, just to make sure there is no spiking, but I guess n75 alone will work good, I`ll see.

Turbo is good, standard k03 about 40k miles old.

I can wheel spin only in snow, maybe sometimes in the rain in first. Quattro . Guess you are making over 200hp with that turbo, so a lot of spinning ?

I try to limit wheel spin, it wastes tires The weather where I live is excellent year-round, so the worst driving condition my car sees is rain!

Bad news.

Today I put new chip. Mtm, and guy said that it should add 40-45hp and boost will be over 1bar(14.7ps). but I`m not 100% sure that is true.

I drove only 30miles. And boost holds 11psi till about 4800rpm and than falls pretty quick to 5-6psi, drops faster and earlier than stock. I feel a little better acceleration midrange, but not like 40 hp for sure.

Guess something still wrong with a car, hardly that the chip is bad?

Probably I`ll have to check actual vs requested boost. Are these usb Vag Com on ebay good for that?

like this one USB OBD-II-2 KKL 409.1 OBD2 Cable VAG-COM for VW/AUDI | eBay

Also when I go WOT, while boost is bulding I hear some metal click sound under the hood for a second, but not always, what could be that...

A cable like that would be a good idea, hopefully someone else will give their thoughts about using a cheaper cable like that (I bought the $250 USD cable from Ross-Tech).

Holding boost until ~5000-5500 and then losing a lot of boost pressure after that is pretty normal for the K03 turbo. Just something you should know - your car would need a MAP sensor to report the actual boost, but AEB never had a MAP sensor (I think ATW was the first to get it).

Since your turbo is relatively new we can guess that is not the problem. My next guess is a boost leak, but if there is one you need a boost leak tester to find it.

Another thought: which diverter valve is in your car? I know you said it is "good" but if it is the standard diverter valve then it isn't designed to handle higher boost levels and could be causing problems.
And same question about the spark plugs: it is often recommended to go with a colder heat range spark plug, and gap it to 0.028 inches (0.71 mm) when you get a chip.

I forgot that aeb doesn`t have Map sensor, so I won`t see actual boost, but maybe just requested?

I have 710N DV, about 30k miles old, I tried to blow through it and push the diaphragm and it is good.

Sparks plugs could be a problem, I have NGK, but it is time to change them. I`ll find those you are recommended.

Also, could it be that chip is 0.8 bar(11-12psi), because I`m now holding that boost? I wanted 1bar, but they were not sure what is the boost, just said +40hp. But maybe this is good enough? Strange how max power is at 5100rpm?MTM Performance upgrade AUDI A4 187 hp (138 kW) - Audi A4 B5 (1,8 T 110 kW (150hp) Quattro)

Car goes pretty well now most of the time.

Typically max power will be at a higher RPM, generally max torque will be at a lower RPM than max power.

It's very possible that chip isn't 1bar judging by the gains they claim. The GIAC K03 chip would run my car at 17-18psi, but they claim +50hp. It might be a good idea to send MTM an email and ask what maximum boost level that tune is supposed to run at.

Thanks, I read and I`m sure that it is 0.8bar now. Acceleration is very good, but again I have different problem. It holds 11psi but at around 4900rpm boost drops really bad, not normal like on stock to 5-6psi, but to 1-3Psi and power loss is very noticeable, it goes flat than and rises rpm very slowly. This is only problem right now, besides that till that rpm car is very smooth and strong.

Could this be bad spark plugs or something else, I`m going to change them anyway?

Update on this problem

I`ve done few things. Cleaned MAF with alcohol, new spark plugs. Still the same.
These are the codes I got. Overboost, MAF, O2, Battery voltage. After clearing codes, car went to limp mode again(boost 3-4psi) after 50miles. While she was going normal, good power until 4500-5000 rpm then big power loss...

I`m going to leave the car for few days at service for testing...
