Are you after 220-250 at the crank or wheels? Oddly enough both are possible with say k04/f21 setup. You can achieve 220-250 with this setup at the wheels on race gas and 220-250 at the crank on regular fuel. These turbos would probably be the cheapest option to get to your goal. You will need the usual supporting mods such as upgraded fueling, tune. Exhaust and fmic are recommended but not necessary.

You cannot just change the turbo only and expect to get what you want. Yes you could theoretically just swap the turbo out and limit the boost to something low like 7 psi, the car will run and be smooth but wont be using the turbo to its full potential and will not get you 220 at the crank. To make the most of it as mentioned above you will need bigger injectors and a re tune, these two are a must, the rest is up to you.

I have (roughly) the same car you do. You can look at my sig and see what I have done to it to get that type of power (these engines max out around 250 hp w/o internal work).

I'm actually running a completely stock K03 right now and it's pushing 25 psi with no problem at all, so my K04 is sitting on the shelf right now. If and when the K03 dies, then I will put the K04 on this engine.

If I were you, I'd get a tune first and if your turbo is blown, I would also try to find a stock K03 or K04 (whichever is cheaper). The K04 is only 1mm bigger, so it's not an extreme upgrade like many people seem to think.

If you don't want to go the "cookie cutter" route and remove your ECM, send it to APR (or whoever) and have your car down for a week, you can have Reflect Tuning flash your ECM remotely with a tune that is tailor made for you (not some "out of the box" tune). The guy's email is ian@reflecttuning.com (I think). If that's wrong, you can just Google "Reflect Tuning" They have a website and they do everything ECM related (as well as clusters). They're also some of the most awesome people I've ever dealt with. Great prices, SUPERIOR service and no down time (and no: I don't know them personally in any way, shape or form. I'm just a customer who has become a super fan of their work and work ethic).
