Ok so I have an Audi A4 with a delta Bose radio in it. I had my battery off and in the event of putting it back on I entered the wrong code twice. Dumb of me for not looking in my manual for my code that I put there but now the radio is stuck in safe mode. It won't let me get to the point of entering my code anymore. I took my battery off for several hours hoping it would reset but it won't. Just displays safe and has two marks on the bottom right. If anyone could help me with this it would greatly appreciated. I can't stand having no music while driving. Thanks

 

Seems you just have to wait a bit longer. Possibly with the car actually running or at least 'on'

I realize this is an older post but no one gave the right answer so I will. After entering the wrong code twice the radio goes into lock-out and you will have to wait about an hour.To get back to the start turn the key to the point that the radio display comes on and leave until the two lines on the lower right corner dis-appear. At that time enter your code.

 

Are you saying after an Hour; turn the key, don't start car. and watch until the two Bar Lines disappear?
