ey is possible to get an upgraded throttle body for an a4 2.8

I believe you can put a VR6 one on or something but my question is why? You will not notice a difference unless you go forced induction.

What's what?

VR6 = type of V6 engines on Volkswagens.

Forced Induction = Supercharger, turbocharger, and such.

Not sure which part isn't clear to you but hope that helps.

you can take it out and bore it out a bit. and like somebody said, why unless you're going forced induction

Yep, zero reason to upgrade throttle body. Guys with a 1.8T engine making 300-400hp don't need to upgrade theirs, and guys with the 2.8 and a supercharger have more than enough flow through the OEM throttle body. It's simply not a choke point.
