ive discovered these lucas brakes are on several other makes ,citroen ,pugeot etc.but the kit costs £44 + delivery from citreon. so cheaper to source a 2nd hand caliper at scrapy's. the kit is also available from brakespartssuperstore.org.uk part no bcf1364 for the lucas 1's. £15-12 +vat and del per kit .if any1 else is looking for the audi replacement sliders

your "supposed" to get new ones with each brake job buying used ones just means you could have used your old ones...

I never heard that and haven't seen any need to do so. I just clean the sliders and caliper bore holes, re-grease them, and reinstall them. No problem. At $21 each changing them out seems a little foolish when they respond so easily to cleaning and greasing.

1 off my sliders was siezed and snapped when i tried to free it off ,clean grease and re'use comments aint helpful guys.i wouldnt be looking to buy a new set off slider pins if it wasnt neccesary.!!.when you drive an 11 year old car, parts eventualy become unserviceable and need replaced.anyway problem is fixed now ,replacement slider has been sourced .
