I bought my audi from a used dealer about a year ago, it currently has 146k miles <--- yes I know a ticking time bomb. When I bought it, the car didn't want to crank and we thought it was the battery. I replaced the battery and it's been months the car cranks and cranks and cranks and cranks before turning over. Only when it's cold though, when it warms up I put the key in and bam it starts perfectly. Why does it crank when it's cold????

Also two days ago I got the dreaded CEL, I went to auto zone had them check my codes and got these! ( Bank 1 {P0422}, Misfires in cylinder 1 and 2 and also a random misfire Codes { P0300, P0301, P0302 }.
The day before it was running like a champ the next morning the CEL came on when I started the car. I don't know what it is, Maybe the cat or 02 sensors.

Please help/ give me advice.

the car is a 1999 audi a4 1.8t

 

If its struggling to start cold, I would start with a relatively cheap possible solution, replace the coolant temp sensor then go from there.

Random misfires in only 2 cylinders, I would assume it's the ignition coils.

 

yes it is my ignition coil, and the bank 1 wasn't even from my computer it was from the computer I bought awhile back I put mine on there and I have 4 cylinder misfires
