I have a 1999 Audi a4. and my windshield wipers wont turn off?? any suggestions? Although we are getting into the wet season here in Oregon, I would still like to have the ability to turn off. Thanks!

 

Surely something in the switch/stalk on your steering wheel column?

 

Has water gotten into the driver's side foot well, from above around the engine compartment/firewall, and gotten the carpet wet? If so there are a couple of electronic modules above your feet, and below the carpet, which could affect the correct operation.
