Audi Brake/PSF Problem =[
Hey guys, very new the the forums, but thats besides the point..
I currently own a 1997 Audi A4 (V6 2.8) with about 38k total miles (yeah its low).
The people at advanced auto parts poured PSF into my brake reservoir (there was still about half a reservoir full of brake fluid, so ti was mixed is my assumption).
I only drove a total of 10miles TOPS from the advanced, to my mechanics shop (I actually was going in to see why the powersteering was still making noise and they found out the guy poured the fluid into the wrong tank.)
So now my car is sitting in the shop, and the mechanic there, says that becuase i drove it so little and because there was some fluid, the PSF probably didnt get passed the master cyclinder, which advanced auto parts HAS AGREED to fully pay for and replace. As well as brake fluid and a brake system bleed/flush.
Now my question is, based on how far ive driven, personally experience, or just what ive said..do you think that what my mechanic is saying is right? that I can just replace the master cyclinder and do a brake system flush/bleed and be okay?
Ive heard of people who completely lost their brakes before taking it into a shop and being really screwed, but my brakes were working fine and I noticed no problems.
Sorry for the long post, and if any information is needed, please let me know

There should be no harm done to the break system.
The brake system doesn't circulate fluid and the chamber on top of the master cylinder merely acts as a reserve.
Flushing the system properly will remove the contamination caused by the Power steering fluid.

Yes, I agree with the mechanic and with BT. All you need to do is bleed and fill. It most likely wouldn't ruin any of the components even if it circulated, though it would be more of a pain to flush that way.
Now... brake fluid in the P/S system would be FAR worse.
