Default Audi Concert HELP!!

Since 4 months i'm driving a nice A4 Avant TDI 1.9 (MY 1998). Only thing: the car is equipped with an Audi Chorus radio.. Last week i bought an Audi Concert from an Audi TT (2001) with safety code. And Yess good guess: wrong safety code :S..

Problem is that the Audi dealer can't help me because they can only recover the code with an original car, so an Audi TT, in combination with the radio.

So does someone knows another way to recover the code?

The radio has the following s/n:
7 648 244 380
AUZ1Z3X9974297
4B0 035 186 D

Any share is appreciated!

@quattroA4

Yes I know, problem is that the girl I bought the radio from doesn't have the vin of her old car anymore..

BTW, I think your concert also has a security code.. just unplug the radio / battery, connect it again and you will see..

no....I have had mine out of the car for weeks and I put it back in and no code is needed....

I believe you have the audi concert II....I have the Audi concert I.....

when you sell a car....a document called a bill of sale is written out....both the seller and the buyer get a copy of this...on the bill of sale is the vin # for the vehicle....you may want to talk to the girl again....

gl!

yeah man stock always looks good but you can get a more powerful aftermarket unit that looks badass and it'll be a lot less hassle. I don't know of any other way to get the radio code to be honest =/
