Question Cylinder Head Cooling Port

So I'm replacing some bent valves on my 2000 Audi A4 1.8t wagon. As I'm cleaning off the old head gasket, I noticed one of the cooling ports didn't look right.. as this is my first time with the head off of a car, I was wondering if anyone else has seen this, or know what could cause this. Pictures attached.

That's most likely the largest hole they could make (given the room they had). You can see it on some of the other ports.

When you get your new head gasket, see if it lines up, then you'll know for sure.
