Default Audi is down, so may as well do some stuff

Well my transmission finally decided it didnt like me anymore and died. Its leaking fluid and shifting horrible i took it to get fixed a few months ago and its doing it again, So instead of wasting time patch/fixing it IM going to purchase a new one.

So since the engine and transmission are going to be out here soon, Im thinking about replacing my gasket's and overhauling the motor.. timing belt and all... My car has about 134k on it and i am starting to notice a small oil leak somewhere near the pan. I Also am asking a few questions here about some simple things... upgrades and whatnot.

I do have a BT setup in my garage waiting to be put on, the only reason i havent put it on is becuase of the condition of the transmision/engine. So would a stock a4 auto tip tronic transmission hold up to a BT setup? Would i need a S4 Auto tranny.

Thanks!

people have gone bt on the tip tranny and some have succeeded but some have failed. i really can't tell you if you do it or not lol. it's done at your own risk but a lvl 10 tip tranny will do the trick
