Default Audi rims

What would I need to make either 2006 A4 rims or 2003 rims fit on a 1998 A4?

Depends on what Audi they are from. Your pattern is 5x112. Most modern Audis have that pattern, except the TT (5x100).

Thanks, is there a stamp or something on the rim that will tell me what bolt pattern it is? What about the offset not too sure on what it is and if it makes a difference

It's usually stamped on the back of a spoke or the backside of the hub. Offset does matter but most Audi wheels seem close enough in offset that fitting wheels from one onto another car creates no problems.
