I loled at that... phil you should think about buying a nice rear sway bar to make up for your fwd. even though you seem to not mind it, I've heard all good about adding a sway bar to fwd a4's

hmm i might.... but im prolly selling it here in a few days possibly for about 3k with stereo and everything in it, then with my financial aid check im gonna have around 4k and ima look for a good deal on a 30vQ then come this time next year ima sell that and buy an a3

Speaking for myself personally, it's not about the speed/capability of the vehicle. For me it's just the simple fact that I can control the power output to the ground at all times - more control over what happens to me/the vehicle/everything else inside. Manuals are just more fun to drive, even if you're only doing 3 MPH in rush hour traffic. I love manuals.

i agree remember i sold this car and was buying a 5 speed guys and than i got rear ended when i droped off the car for the guy so i kept the car so pretty much im keeping the car until i can get myself a sti or a wrx =] and its gonna be a manual

plus having to hold down the break constantly when ur not moving is a PITA

You got me there, but only because I let the registration run out and cancelled the insurance because I'm deployed (on leave). Once I'm back for good, all quattro, all the time!

Until then, at least my <wife's> soccer mom SUV has AWD! And yes, the kids played soccer the past two seasons, just so ya know... hahaha!

Actually, I'm comparing a Chrysler to a VW Passat that someone slapped some rings on and sold it to a sucker.... hahahaha! Just messing, man, much love for ya.
