If you want the car to drive you, buy an auto. If you want to drive the car, buy a manual. I live in the city and even with the traffic I would never trade my manual for an auto. Get a 1.8T too.

Same here. My Tip tranny offers me the best of both worlds. I can just cruise around and take it easy then I can just bump the shifter over and trash manny fools like you guys in the corners. The fact that some of you make such a big deal about your manual trannys just tells me yinz are overcompensating for something, if ya catch muh drift.
