I'm selling my 99 A4 1.8TQA to a friend, but need to replace the head first. I was just told through a friend that he knows someone with an AWB head ready to bolt on. Will this head bolt right to the AEB block? I know all the benefits of the AEB head, and what needs to be done to the head to have it ready, so if this isn't a feasible option I'm not screwed. Just looking into if this will even work. Thanks guys and glad to be part of the community!

 

Considering the AWB engine was not available in North America, I am guessing you mean a different engine. What year car does this head come out of, and what car for that matter?
