I like what svigote said but mostly if its idling fine when driving and if its manual and when clutching but when you are idling when stopped and its misfiring could mean a bunch of things mostly sensors just drive it untill you get a check engine light then grab a scanner at like princess auto or whatever and check it right the codes an go on line if or like you said your stumped German cars are mostly bad for I feel fine oh **** and you on the side of the road type of car

 

I have a ross-tech scanner. Misfire cyl. 1,2,3 O2 sensor code for pre cat b1s1 b2s1 electrical malfunctions. like I said before this is the only code that has no info for it in Bentley or online. I will get the code and post it. I have changed out O2 sensors I get the same code. New oem bosch and used oem bosch I have 3 sets I have changed between. all o2 sensors ohm and volt check with'in tolerance and the ECU plug ohm's and volt checks correctly to.

 

and it's an automatic.
