B5 boost sputter

Pull the cluster and look if you want, but mainly you need to scan the computer for codes. Something should be in there with the issues you're having. It's possible that you're having DV or wastegate failures - this turbo you put in, was it new or secondhand from someone else? Who did the work and are they legitimately qualified skill-wise for the job? It's possible they messed something up. And I agree - keep the plug gap where it is. If you have to run .018" gap you have other issues.
This is all info that possibly would've helped us earlier on...

It was bran new turbo, the dv is bran new aswel I done the work myself with my mechanic friend, it worked fine for a while, I have ordered the wire to plug into laptop, it does seem like a misfire its that kind of stutter when I pull away but then its fine, what do u mean by pull the cluster? Could it be coil pack, I changed the plugs and it does run better. The turbo is a k03 standard thanks

Do you see the check engine light when you turn on the ignition, but before you try to start the engine? If not, the bulb may have been removed if there was an incessant CEL. Pulling the cluster means removing the housing that contains the speedo, tach, etc. It's easy peasy to remove. You can then check if the bulb has been removed or maybe blown.
It sounds to me a lot like a coil pack is breaking down under boost. First things first though. Get the check engine light working, scan for codes and we can go from there.
