So I went to a muffler shop today to get my muffler put on and ran into a problem. It appeared the stock exhaust enters the muffler at an angle and the magnaflow enters directly in the back. It looked as if it won't fit at all... Does anyone have a picture of how their exhaust mounted on or have an idea of a good way to attach the new muffler?

That's what they told me a couple months ago.

My muffler is still sitting in my trunk.

In the event I have most of the important things fixed and get around to doing this too, I saved this picture from Aledelic's post for an s-bend

Thanks man that's reassuring. I think I am going to have to take it to a better shop.

I found a good shop that will install the muffler. They don't bend 2.25 pipe so they are going to run a small section of 2.5 where the S bend goes. I'm excited to get it done but the **** is going to cost around $200.

Check out Buds Muffler off Santa Fe I believe, I've heard they do good work there. $200 seems high for just welding the muffler in.

Very high. And I have the res delete. It sounds great with an aftermarket muffler but really only makes the car a little louder without.
