b5 guys pls help a b7 owner - wheels
Hey Guys,
Looking to buy some wheels, found two sets that I like but wanted to know if they will fit: ( I have an 08 a4 2.0t s-line )
1) Bolt Pattern: 5x112 Size: 18"x7.5" Offset: +42mm
Also, what type of tires (size) would I need for these to fit correctly?
2) the other set: staggered set with a 5x120 bolt pattern. They are 19" by 8.5" in the front and 19" by 9.5 in the rear. The tires are Kumho 235/35z/19r 91y in the front and a HUGE 265/30z/19r 93y in the rear.
any help is appreciated!!! thanks in advance
unfortunatley no one seemed to know in the b7 area
your bolt pattern is 5x112
I believe your stock offset is somewhere between 40-45mm (anything around this should fit fine)
are you FWD?....if you are quattro the height of all the tires needs to match, which means if you are going to go for a staggered look, then you need to make sure that the height is still identical....if you are FWD you don't have to worry about it...
If you are FWD do not buy a staggered set-up...it just doesn't make sense.....
try to find a wheel with a bolt pattern of 5x112....and try not to go wider than 8.5"...I know you CAN fit 9", but you may end up pokeing a bit depending on offset...
if you bought the 5x120's you would need to get adaptors, good adaptors (hubcentric) should set you back about $200...and will usually space out another 18-25mm
if I picked up the first set you listed I would go with a 225/40/18.....
well, hopefully something in there made some sense....gl!
