Default B5 Ignition Coil 2000 1.8

I had to replace an ignition coil today. The car was missing a little, but would not throw a code. Finally, last night, I got the blinking CEL and it threw P0302, which is misfire on cylinder #2. I had a 'yet to fail' recall coil from my B6, so I dropped that in and was able to drive just fine. Dealer got me for $40, but they are about $30 on line plus shipping. (on the B6 I had replaced two as they failed before I just bought the other two, pre-failure, and then sent my receipts into Audi of America and they reimbursed me for all four) I just did EIGHT Coils on my F-150 two weeks ago, so June must be Coil Month.
Bummer, $40 gone on a Friday before there is even any beer in the cooler......

Funny that distributorless ignition systems were supposed to make cars more trouble free, but now they seem to be more troublesome than the electro-mechanical systems they replaced.
