hey where can I find mapsensor on my Audi A4 1.8tsq 2000?

 

It's plugged into the intercooler.

 

Tell me more, where on the intercooler?

 

It's on the very top of the side mount, in plain sight when looking down from the top, and is the only electrical connector on the intercooler. Shouldn't be hard to spot.

 

can anyone take pictures where it is connected and select it? I have looked and looked and can find some contacts but do not want to guess what it is ...

Ah, gotcha. I've done this mod on my car. It's fun but you need to be very careful. This picture should help too:



Notice the orientation of the diode in relation to the wires on the MAP sensor. And don't flame my poor soldering skills
