Default B5 S Line

I've been trying to find information on the S-Line for the B5's, but I'm having difficulty. I read somewhere that they only had them for 2001. What did the S line package include? How would I be able to identify one from one that just has had S-Line badges put on the grill?

Only the B6's and up can be identified by a badge. '98 and up B5's had the S-Line package but it was called the sport package instead. In the B5's they can be identified by two violet and one white dot on the springs. The sport package simply came with a stiffer suspension and a lower ride height.

Every Audi has front buckets sir. The sport package ones were probably just more supportive during spirited driving.

You will definitely tell if its the sport package just by looking how low it sits, as mentioned above the 3 spoke wheel with red sport badge, and i think another thing is a red slash by the T on the 1.8T emblem in the back.

Not sure but I believe only the S line models have the tip tronic shifters on the steering wheel.
