Bad battery?

Default Bad battery?

Not sure if my battery is bad or not. It works but if i park it for like 3-4 days then it dies. I can drive it for months as long as i drive it every day butif I did then i have to jump it. Should i jut get a new battery?

It sounds like something is draining the power from your battery. Try disconnecting the battery when you're not going to use the car for a few days and see if it works. Also, some auto parts stores can check your battery for free to see if it's still good.

+1 have it tested, I had the same issue with one of my other cars turned out one cell was bad and when it sat it drained the others but as long as I drove it it never weaked the other cells enough. But yeah Autozone, Advanced auto and places like that should do it for free!

As long as you're there, you should have 'em test yer alternator too. Thats free as well (used to be, anyhow)

alright thanks ill go get it checked out. Yeah this car is going to sit most of the summer since I have the mustang on the road now.

ouch, had to throw in the mustang comment lol just kidding. I have an 03 mach 1, but to be honest, I like being able to hug corners. The mach is good for straight lines...

+1 for hugging corners. So much more satisfying zipping through a windy road for me!

I really dont even notice much difference between the two..I live on windy New hampshire roads but my gf notices that with the mustang I use both lanes as my own ha. Its not hard when there are very rarely cars.
