Hi I am new to audi's, so I don't know what a bad block is. Can someone help explain this to me? What would I need to do to fix it?

 

Engine block? Means the car won't do much at all. You need to replace it or just trash the car depending on the year/miles/damage/etc.

The engine block is sorta the center piece of the car.

 

^^^What he said^^^ Motor is shot. But the wording is strange. Usually a good careful diagnosis will tell you the block is cracked...won't hold compression....leaks coolant, a rod went through the block, etc. "Bad block" just sounds a bit like a guess to me.
