Bad Catalytic Converter - Easy ?
Engine Light - EGR Deficiency Low Flow (Autozone)
I also brought the car to Midas - they said bad driver side cat converter $1300 estimate
Car X confirmed cat which they let me look under the car with them. Its definately bad, they said they can throw a universal on for $350.
I swear i'm only getting about 10 mpg and I'm going to park the car until I get some feedback. I would like to do this myself and this part appears to bolt in. Is this something I should not considering doing? Any recommendations? What else should I do while i'm at it? I used seafoam that that really seemed to do me in. Much appreciated!

From:
buy a catalytic converter from ebay and a downpipe from advance auto online or something similar....
get the ECS install kit for the downpipe and catalytic converter install kit....
take out old cat and dp as one....
it's easier....
I found out the hard way that mine were welded together and the cat was hollowed out.....
